Energy policy is undergoing radical change throughout the world:
Worldwide energy consumption is growing all the time due to the increasing industrialisation of the major powers of China and India. At the same time, fossil fuels are therefore running out at an ever-increasing rate. Nuclear power is not an option either, due to the substantial risks.
Tight energy supplies and growing demand result in exploding energy prices. Solar energy is therefore seen worldwide as an important part of a new, clean energy solution. Photovoltaics is receiving strong support in more and more countries.
Solarvalue will operate in the photovoltaics market. We will begin in the key segment, solar grade silicon production. Over time we will cover all the economically interesting parts of the solar value chain.
